Chocolate Powerhouse Shake


You won’t taste the veggies, but you’re body will!  Perfect for post-workout, or breakfast :D


2 cups lightly packed fresh cabbage leaves


1 banana, peeled, sliced


5 dates


1/2 cup slivered almonds


2 tablespoons cocoa


1 teaspoon


6 baby carrots


1 tablespoon Splenda


Pinch of salt


Pour 1 cup of water and cabbage into blender and pulse several times.  Add remaining ingredients and several ice cubes and blend until smooth.  Add 1/2 tsp of instant coffee if your looking for a little caffeine kick :)


Makes 2 smoothies- Enjoy!
